thermset |
A large dataset of senior activities at home.
Thermset is composed long term recordings of seniors being aided, sitting, wandering, people that felt to the ground, nurses, etc. Such data is highly valuable for training new algorithms aimed to help the elderly live better and benchmarking existing algorithms in real life situations |
raw data
Thermset contains months of raw video recordings. Below, examples of Thermset raw data and the output of our algorithms at detecting basic events and localizing the person in the room.

labeled data
We labeled five interesting senior events (1) sitting (2) standing (3) lying (4) People -moments where the senior is assisted-, and (5) background frames. In the videos below, we show examples of the labeled data. Note that the examples were normalized the max-min temperature per frame values ease their visualization. Researchers interested in developing new methods to detect these events should use the absolute temperature per frame values. Thermset provides these labeled frames.
